We recommend booking your taxi about one month ahead of your trip. Remind them a day or two before. Use WhatsApp for good communication.
3. Green Turtle Ferry
The Green Turtle Ferry makes numerous scheduled and on time trips back and forth to the mainland of Great Abaco Island. The ferry will drop you off or pick you up at the public Benson Dock if you request to the captain. This is standard procedure and you can request pick up there upon your departure on Facebook or WhatsApp.
Make arrangements with your cart rental company to have your cart waiting for you there. It's a 2 minute ride to Domino Dreams from the Benson Dock.
There is no need to pre-book the ferry unless you want to charter them for your group. This is one of the few things in The Bahamas that runs on time. So, be prompt, have cash (BS or USD), and gratuity is common. Any baggage handlers are working for tips only.
